Course information

This qualification will provide an understanding of the knowledge needed when working directly with children or young people in primary schools. They include learning about children and young people’s development, safeguarding their welfare and communication. The Level 3 Certificate is suitable for those working in unsupervised roles that support pupils’ learning. They will be assessed by your tutor or assessor using a range of methods. This could include direct observation in the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task set by CACHE.
Your placement will be two days per week.
This course is Advanced Learning Loan eligible which can fully cover the course fee.

Entry Requirements

- You should have a least a grade C in English or Functional Skills Level 2, but it will depend on your experience and interview.

If you are 16-18 years old at the start of your course, studying at The City of Liverpool College is free. If you are aged between 19-23 and don’t have 2 A-Levels (or equivalent), you won't have to pay any fees for this course.
