Course Details
- This level 2 qualification will be studied over one evening per week for a full academic year, starting in September.
- This course is for adults aged over 19 only.
- You will study in our state of the art Duke Street campus
- This level 2 qualification is designed to help you secure your first Air Cabin Crew role.
What to expect from the course

This exciting course will prepare you for employment in a Cabin Crew Role
You will learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the aviation sector.
The programme contains 6 core units of study:
Work as Cabin Crew
Airline Health, Safety and Security
Aircraft Emergency Situations
Dealing with passengers on board an aircraft
Cabin service - selling techniques
Making passenger announcements on board aircraft
You will also get involved in life saving related activities such as firefighting and emergency evacuations, which also includes medical procedures.

Microsoft Office 365 - Free
When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.
Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite
The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.
Career pathways
- On completion of this course, you are prepared for employment in the aviation industry as cabin crew, or you could continue in education on a level 3 travel and aviation course.

Entry Requirements
Must be aged 19 or older.
Entry requirements for our courses depend on the specific requirements of each Programme of Study and an individual’s personal experience. The following is a guide as to what you might be expected to achieve to gain entry onto the course:
Entry criteria will be for learners who have progressed from any Foundation or level 1 provision.
Or
New learners that hold a range of GCSE grades of 3 and 4 or above and/or level 1 qualifications.
Or
Learners that have either have no GCSE Grade 4/C in Maths and English, or one
grade 4/C in Maths or English
An interest in the topic and good attitude to learning are important to enable you to achieve success on this course. If you do not meet the entry requirements, we would suggest an alternative route of studying Aviation at L2, completion of this will enable you to progress to Cabin Crew.
Fees
If you are 16-18 years old at the start of your course, studying at The City of Liverpool College is free.
