Enrolment

The enrolment process is how you’ll officially register as a City of Liverpool College student! We’ll send you an email with a link to enrol online, with instructions on what to do next. Most students can complete their entire enrolment online using their phone or computer, but if you need support or would prefer to come into college to enrol, that’s fine too.

How do I enrol?

You will receive an email with a link to the digital enrolment system during the summer enrolment period. You can enrol online, or, if you prefer, you can come into college to enrol in person.

Enrolment FAQs

When will enrolment take place?

For courses starting in September 2023, online enrolment will take place over the summer. Not everyone will receive their enrolment link at the same time – enrolment links are sent to different groups of students at different times, so don’t worry if you haven’t received your link yet and someone else has.

 

How should I enrol?

Most students enrol online and using their phone or computer, but you also have the option to come into college to enrol in person, if you prefer.

I can't log in to the online enrolment system, what should I do?

When you follow the link to enrol, you must use the same email address that we sent your link to.

If you have not used the system before, you first need to click “create an account” near the top of the page. Use the correct email address to register your account and choose a password – remember, you must use the same email address that we sent your link to. After this, you will receive an email with a link to activate your account. Use this link and then log in to complete your enrolment.

If you have already created an account and can’t log in, please click ‘forgot your password‘. You will receive an email to reset your password (check your spam folder if you do not receive this). Use the link in the email to reset your password, and then log in to complete your enrolment.

I have logged into my account on the system, but I don't have any courses to accept.

This usually means you have logged in with the wrong email address. When you follow the link to enrol, you must use the same email address that we sent your link to.

Do I need to come to college to complete my enrolment?

No, enrolling online means that most students can complete their enrolment without having to attend a college centre. However, if you would prefer to come into college to enrol, this is absolutely fine.

I am trying to enrol but cannot upload my photograph, what should I do?

Please make sure:

  • The photo is less than 14mb
  • The photo is similar to a passport photo
  • The photo is a jpg (file type)

Try taking a screenshot of the original image and uploading the screenshot instead.

If this doesn’t work, please remove your photo and try again. Sign out and sign in again, this will take you to the courses on offer page. Once signed in, to remove your photo: 

  • Desktop:  Click your initials in the top right corner, and click “remove photo”. 
  • Mobile: Click user icon (top right of screen) > Click initial > Remove photo 
It says my account is not activated, what should I do?

If you get a message saying your account needs activation, this usually means you have not clicked the activation link in your email. You can resend the activation link.  Sign in, then click “resend activation” to send another email, you can then click the activation link in your emails to sign in.

Does everyone have to enrol online?

No. While most students prefer to enrol online, some students come into college to enrol in person instead.

What happens after enrolment?

After you have completed your enrolment, you will receive an email from us to confirm everything is complete. You don’t need to do anything else at this point.

In August, you will receive your Welcome Pack which contains all the information you will need for your first day, including your timetable.

I've finished my enrolment but I haven't received my welcome pack.

Welcome Packs and timetables are sent during August, so don’t worry if you have enrolled earlier than this and haven’t received yours yet.

If you are enrolling during August or September, please be aware that it can take a couple of days after you complete your enrolment for your Welcome Pack to be processed.

I haven’t received my enrolment link email, what should I do?

How will I get my student ID badge?

You will be able to collect your student ID badge from the reception desk in college on your first day.

How can I apply for additional financial support with travel passes, meals, etc?

You may be eligible for additional financial support such as free meals, a bursary or a travel pass. Click here for further information and instructions on how to apply.

When will I receive my Welcome Pack?

Welcome Packs and timetables are sent during August, so don’t worry if you have enrolled earlier than this and haven’t received yours yet.

If you are enrolling during August or September, please be aware that it can take a couple of days after you complete your enrolment for your Welcome Pack to be processed.
