What to expect from the course
- Transition BTEC Level 2 First Certificate in Construction and the built environment is a vocational (work related) course involving practical and theory based work. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.
As well as learning about the employment area you are interested in, you will develop the skills you need to start and/or further develop your education and career.Qualifications

Microsoft Office 365 - Free
When you become a student of the College you’ll receive full access to Microsoft Office 365. This allows you to install the software on your own computer and other devices at home, completely free of charge.
Onsite Sports Facilities/Fitness Suite
The college has excellent sports and fitness facilities at its Roscoe Street campus. Students pay a one-off membership fee for all year round usage of weekly supervised gym sessions, as well as access to a number of sporting clubs and events.

Entry Requirements
A minimum of three GCSEs including English, Maths and Science, and at least a grade 3 and above in either English or Maths.
All students will sit an initial assessment.

Fees
If you are 16-18 years old at the start of your course, studying at The City of Liverpool College is free.
