Financial Support for Advanced Learner Loan-Approved Students

If you are aged 19 or over, you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan for an approved qualification at level 3 to level 6. An Advanced Learner Loan is administered by Student Finance England and is to cover tuition fees only. Once you’ve enrolled on an approved course at the College, you’ll receive a Learning and Funding Information letter which includes the details you need to apply for the loan.
If you need help applying, contact the Student Finance team by completing the Financial Support form below.
If you are a student in receipt of an Advanced Learner Loan and your household income is less than £25,000, you may be eligible for extra support.
Click on the boxes below to find out more.
FREE MEALS

If your household income is under/up to £25,000 per annum, you will be eligible for food from any College café to the value of £6.50 each day you attend college. Free meal credit will be added to your college card daily once your application is approved.

  • An essential requirement of the course
