Financial Support for Advanced Learner Loan-Approved Students
If you are aged 19 or over, you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan for an approved qualification at level 3 to level 6. An Advanced Learner Loan is administered by Student Finance England and is to cover tuition fees only. Once you’ve enrolled on an approved course at the College, you’ll receive a Learning and Funding Information letter which includes the details you need to apply for the loan.

If you are a student in receipt of an Advanced Learner Loan and your household income is less than £25,000, you may be eligible for extra support.

FREE MEALS
You may be entitled to free meals up to the value of £5.50 per day, including a breakfast option worth £2.00.

If you live more than 1.5 miles away from your Campus, we can offer a weekly travel pass for Arriva, Stagecoach or Merseyrail.

If you study with us and decide to progress onto higher education, we’ll support you with this by refunding any UCAS fees you incur when making your application.

There is help available to fund any kit and uniforms you may need for your course, as well as for the cost of trips related to your studies.

There may be funding available for a full day of childcare for each day you attend college, either at our own nursery or with your childcare provider of choice.
